A.D. Cowdrey is located in Modesto, California.  The company was

founded by D. Carmichael, a blacksmith, in 1890.  The cutlery began as

CARMICHAEL CUTLERY, and to this day retains that name.  Our cutlery

is made from the finest grades of carbon and stainless steel.

The company was purchased and moved to Modesto in 1961.  Shortly

after moving the cutlery manufacturing process to Modesto, A.D.

Cowdrey began making cannery aprons.  The aprons are considered to

be of high-quality, if not the best quality aprons in food processing plants.

A.D. Cowdrey currently sells through Retail and Distributorship networks

to fresh market growers, packing facilities and food processing plants

throughout the world.
